hehe so you photoshoped my photoshop? i think i actully ended up adjusting the levels to make it darker, as i wanted it kinda of black and white with a hint of colour on the car. so just duplicated the layer and then blured it, and erased it where the car is, hence y if you look close there are black blured patches on it, the main one i've noticed is under the number plate!

i'm dying to take out my bros DSLR and take some pics when my cars clean, so far i've only got this one photo of the rear badge, and here's a pic of your car i did the same sort of thing to as the pic of my car u edited a bit i think :D

here's the orginal resized. i think i just like the black bg thing atm as it puts more of a focus on the car...not that it really works if the car is nearly black too :)

Next time you take your brothers SLR out near night time see if you can borrow a tri-pod and set it up manually and then play with the exposure ie shutter speed and appature. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve. Just be wary of where the light is coming from and if you have a second camera you can use it to get really good effect as fill in flash on other areas of the car during long shutter speeds ie 1 to 2 seconds.

Yeah long exposures give some cool effects, Soon after i got my car i went for a cruise with a mate and stopped in a park to take some pics, hes into photography so has a beast of an SLR with a million mega pixels and all that jazz. we did a few shots with a 15-30 second exposure with the light source being a street type lamp in the car park. They turned out real good i thought with cool contrast between the completly black parts and the sexy red with some added lens flare (is that what its called?). also the nightime sky has a red tinge to it which looks mad.

(please ignore the fully shick number plates, im gettin rid of them soon when i register it)

Looks cool Dave. Long exposures like that can give you some pretty good effects especially if you've got traffic going past in the background you get all those long tail light streaks of red. I like your pic, it would have been inetersting to see the same pic if he had of used the camera flash to light up the front of the car too, prolly not the look you wanted though.
