Desparate for a 240z Windscreen

G'day, new poster here, I've been searching Australia wide for a windscreen to complete my collection of parts for my '72 240 which started with only a rust free body, well rust free except for some pin holes in the floor and doors, also some remnant parts from a previous 240 that turned to brown dust, you know what I mean but the old windscreen in that car was so badly scratched it had to go, along with the rest of the body

 

The restoration is coming along nicely, I've bought many NOS parts at great expense but now I feel that if I can't obtain a windscreen the car will be in limbo for who knows how long !

 

I would be grateful for any clues to direct me find one or if you have one for sale please contact me, I am willing to pay freight from anywhere in Australia

You can buy a windscreen from any windscreen mob...Windscreens Obrian's etc

Is it that easy mr240z ? sort of takes the fun out it...you're the second person that's suggested that to me so first thing Monday morning I'll contact O'Brien's...I simply didn't believe it though, I've read windscreen web sites and couldn't find any inkling that they could supply one for a 240

It sure is, it took me ten minute at Novus to organise mine and it was in the next day. ;D inc new rubber.

That's fantastic news, I was pretty concerned about the availability...I've been out of the vintage resto game for a while now and didn't even know that US ebay had 240 parts, I'd been watching Oz ebay and all I got was an air cleaner element, I was wondering how damn long it was going to take to restore the this Z

240Z and 260Z and 2+2 windscreens are all the same. They fit in each model. So you shouldn't have a problem.
