RB30X Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 We've just bought a new SLR camera recently and I've been playing with the settings etc. I know many of you have some favourite snaps of your zeds, where you've taking the photo and gone.....wow, that looks very.... professional. I like the fish eye style shots too, but I don't have one of those lenses. I haven't really got any good ones of my car as it isn't even near finished but I was playing around with some engine shots. Love to see some of yours. Quote
sexual_sushi Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I saw this photo over at HybridZ recently and really liked it We have had quite a bit of rain in Brisbane lately so here's a more 'arty' one i took when I got home one night And this is my favorite photo of my car, I'm in the process of cleaning it up a bit more as I'm about to get it sandwiched in glass on some nice pretty metallic paper Quote
herrods Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 i like that last yellow one of yours sexual_sushi here is one i used for my final portfolio, shot @ night in pitch black using a torch RB30x what camera did you buy, with a mode like that in it my first guess would go to olympus? unless you are in the photoshop book as well to get the effect. RB30X Posted April 19, 2010 Author Posted April 19, 2010 Very nice. I bought a Nikon D5000, but hardly know how to work it yet. And yours? Quote
herrods Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Nikon d3, with 24-70 f2.8 lens but its my job, so i have to outlay stupid amounts on cameras. Used to (while still at tafe) sell cameras through a specialist retailer in sydney (Paxtons) D5000, and for those onthe canon side, 500d, are stupidly well advanced, i didnt think we would see the jump to that sort of thing in that level of the market quite so soon. hopefully some more photos to come. I have others but they are not of zeds Quote
