acf321 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Has anybody bought / used the replacement clear front under bar parking light lens that are being made by KlearZ in the USA. My car came with broken lens, so I need a clear lens replacement. Apart from the extremely rare and insanely priced (think $US400+) OEM items, does anybody have anything to say about these replicas, particularly in terms of fit, seal and durability. Quote
chartoo Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I bought their cleared taillight indicator lenses for my 260z and was really happy with the quality. There is a guy in Aus too http://streetlens.com/japanese.html Quote
260Coupe Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I have a pair (found on ebay) and they are only missing the metal devider strip between indicator and parking light, the holes were slighly out of wack but its no big deal.........once fitted they look fine. If you do bid on ebay be careful as this mob scam to up the price when you are bidding, then send you a second chance if you are out bid (happened to me three times on the same item) so if you bid do so at the very last moment beforeit ends. Administrators gav240z Posted February 7, 2010 Administrators Posted February 7, 2010 Why do they say off road use only when the early zeds came with clear lenses from the factory? The early 240z's had the clear lenses then in 73 they changed to the split amber / clear indicator style. In the US they had the amber style, so maybe that's why they are under the impression they are not road legal. In Australia However they should be fine, since my Z has the clear ones and I had no problems getting a RWC. Quote
