Gilly Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Hey all, I'm Gilly, I won't lie, I got interested in Z's when I saw them in a video game a few years back. Thought it would be a good idea to join this forum and research Z's. So I have the knowledge to make my Z the way I want it, but I'm a povvo student so I won't have a Z for a while. Quote

Scoota G Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Welcome Gilly.... best advice is save, save & save! Then spend when you find a nice example. Nah don't listen to him... buy a thousand dollar basket case 2 seater and enjoy having no money for the next 7 years Quote
Mr Camouflage Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 And no Z to drive for the next 7 years while you fix all the issues, and pay rego on a daily driver. Get a 2+2. They are cheaper. Quote
Thomo260 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Get a 2+2. They are cheaper. Welcome. And if you have kids in the future you can keep it cause the 2+2 is more practical Quote
Gilly Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 I'm thinking about a 2+2 as well. But practicality isn't a massive concern, unless my xr6 dies, then I'm up the creek without a paddle. Quote
Quandary Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Welcome. I wouldn't trade my 2+2 for anything. My golf clubs and gear won't fit in the 2 seaters. Quote
dalee Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 My golf clubs ... won't fit in the 2 seaters. You have not been trying hard enough. PS you can fit four big blokes in a 2 seater and drive around for a while. But it helps if three of them are very drunk. Quote
