Taz Posted October 13, 2009 Author Posted October 13, 2009 still looking, if anyone knows of a place that sells them other then rarespares then please tell me Quote
maddos Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 That part you've identified actually attaches to the chrome piece at the top of your window. This is how they are on the later model 260's. I assume you have the earlier model 74-75 like mine which has the clean chrome piece with no rubber piece on top. If so, sorry can't help you, had trouble myself. Have the old one sitting there which I might put back on one day if I start driving it more often. Just haven't worried about it yet. Quote
Taz Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 yeah i think its the same bit your talking about, hte bit im after sort od laps under the main door seal. warren at allz just said that they only came out factory and to get replacements costs more then its worth so im just leaving it Quote
maddos Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Yeah it's not too bad without it. i mainly only notice when I wash the car gets my seat wet. Doesn't worry it when it rains though. Quote
Timwell Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 http://www.datsunrestore.com/catalog.html Try this place direct from the US...they seem to have a lot of those hard to find bits. regards, Tim Quote
Taz Posted November 11, 2009 Author Posted November 11, 2009 i actually went to this foam and rubber place and bought a few meters of stuff they had and it fits pretty much perfect, it was the rite width and all i had to do was cut it to length and cut out a whole for where the quarter window slots into the top car Quote
