japjag Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 We are after more camber for a street sprint car and want to know if r31 struts are going to do the job. Any ideas?? Low budget race team Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted September 14, 2009 Moderators Posted September 14, 2009 Another budget / crude way is to bend the strut tube near the bottom for camber. But do it carefully and not too much as the shock won't sit all the way at the bottom. Can get around -1.5' Quote
japjag Posted September 19, 2009 Author Posted September 19, 2009 Thank you guys for the info. I will talk to the brains trust (chief mechanic) and let him know the results Quote
THRTY1 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Ive only been a member of this club now for *looks at clock* about 5 mins, so excuse the noob-ness.... but on the next page someone as fitted s13 coils and hubs to the front.. and i myself have fitted s13 hubs and coils to the front of 2 of my r31s, so you should be able to run an r31 strut in a z, as long as your prepared to run r31 brakes. Cheers, Alan. Quote
