I'm after a power aerial for my 240, can I just fit any type (maybe one from a commodore)or is there a specific size/model for the 240?

There are units available on Ebay stating they are for Z cars, however I doubt they are purpose designed and made , as I see it, if a quality generic unit fits use it, I did...

There are numerous excellent units available supplied with a multitude of body contour swivels in the kit to suit any fitting application..........

I guess the 240Z has a manual power up and power down aerial button like the 260Z?

I ended up putting in an auto up/down when radio on and ignition on/off I much prefer Lynton 8)

You can use an aerial from a 280Z, they fit nicely and are still a Nissan item. Cost around US$220.00 landed, readily available.

Hi, can't remember the brand (hope the rest of my memory on the subject is okay) but it was about $90 for a univeral remote aerial with the same round chrome base that was on the car originally.  My auto electrican got it and fitted it in seconds.  I think it came from jb hifi.

Highly recommend doing it - much easier than reaching through either the hatch or passenger window if oversteering.
