Taz Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 im wondering if anyone whos where i can buy a set of cylinders for the ignition, hatch and doors? atm i have a seperate key for each lock and just been to a locksmith who says he cannot match them to one key or get his hands on new locks. :-\ any help would be great cheers tom Quote
Zeddophile Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I'd try another locksmith if you have access to one... Nothing special about a zed lock, not like bloody Alfa door locks with their stupid dimple keys - there are only two places in Melbourne than can actually CUT keys for Alfetta doors, and only one that can rekey them. acf321 Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 240Z new OEM boot lock mechanism is still available from the US ... I bought one recently, as are the OEM door locks ... Boot lock is about $US140 and the doors are $120 or so a side ... very exxy, but they are OEM and new. The door locks are not worth paying the freight for, but the boot lock is very smartly chromed. Taz Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 Mr 240, have you bought these locks from niceproducts? im idealy looking to end up with one key for boot, doors and ignition. but it seems nowhere does complete sets, just doors and ignition as one and boot as another key? anyone found different? Lynton Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 From new when I purchased my 260Z the door locks L & R were same key and only for the doors, the hatch/boot and glove box and petrol flap are a different key again but do all three, the ignition key is separate key again. (3 Keys in all and I think there was even an extra key that could lock the glove box like a master that no other key could unlock it again....Lynton Quote
