camZ Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Hey everyone, does anyone know what type of wheels are on that american z in the background of the home page? i'm in the process of restoring a 240 and 260, and as you'd all know good wheels are a pain to find with the right offset. especially if you have flares. also any other recomendations for wheels? thanks Cam Quote
Toecutter Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 From memory the orange car thats also on the background has got some type of Japanese wheels on it. The car in the banner above is Gavs car with photoshoped Works wheels and kit. Try ROH for custom wheels of offset to what ever you ask for. A new set will set of 17's you back about $1700 otherwise you can go for the 16" superlites if you want cheaper wheels! Cheers Sulio Quote
zedevan Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 just came across a thread in which they talked about the rims i think you're talking about so here's a quote from it If you read the article: "The Z-car's contact patch is provided by three-piece Chevlon Sport wheels special ordered from Japan by DAZZ Motorsports. The mesh-style aluminum (17x8 front, 17x9 rear) is wrapped by Dunlop SP9000 rubber." tods wheels are Racing Hart (RH) wheels.. C2's if i remember correctly.. DAZZ owns RH http://www.turbomagazine.com/features/tur0801a01_free/ Quote
