RBZ 260 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 6k for s15 did u tell them to get nicked? i cannot believe they even had the guts to even say it. mate at least another 10K + on top. u be lucky to get a s15 spec R manual for under 20k. (i mean a decent one) there are lot of junkers out there. i had the similar experience when i test drove the 350z track when it came out. it was nice and all but i thought my s14 was better and again lot cheaper to insure and run. Mick280zx Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 mmmm still strumming my chinny chin chin and not sure the 370Z/350Z option is offering me much more than my S15 anyway other than the smell of a nice new or late model car with higher operating costs maybe Alan is on the money driving an MX5??? Lynton In my opinion I'd keep the S15 and add a squirt of 'new car smell' to the back seat. Buy a ps3 and Gran Turismo 10 (or whatever it will be soon) drive the 370z there, and keep the money in your pocket! Quote
260Coupe Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Lynton, I was offered a rediculous trade in figure on my MX as well, the reality is that if the dealers drop their pants on the on road price for a new new Z then they try and recoup as much in the trade in deal. I was offered $20k for my MX when they had an identical model in the lot with a sticker price of $39990..with more km's on the clock...go figure After a rush of blood I have now decided to wait and look again in a years time, hopefully pick up a low km 370z and let someone else loose $$ on the first years depreciation Quote

warrenz Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 hopefully pick up a low km 370z and let someone else loose $$ on the first years depreciation Good move, did the same with the 350Z, 15 months old, 15000 k's and $20K off the new price, and now 3.5 years later it has probably only dropped another $15k or may be even less. Quandary Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 It certainly appears less boring than the 350. I like the looks of it. Maybe I can get some waves from 370z owners, as opposed to 350z owners that don't know what they are driving. Quote
zedevan Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 i'm starting to see these around more and more, and not just outside dealerships! spotted a hot blonde driving a yellow one down elizabeth st in peak times this morning, and a black one went through an intersection i was stopped at the other night and looked pretty nice Quote
