reverendzed Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I thought I might ask the questions as to why my clutch seems a little soft and engages so quickly when releasing it. I thought it may be the leaking master cylinder so I replaced it, bled it and it seems a 'little' better (I think) but it just feels different than it used to, any ideas? Rev. Quote
RBZ 260 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 sounds like the pressure plate bit the dust to make it softer. now to crab earlier is the puzzle. mine did similar but the clutch plate failed and had a bit of it floating around and grabing. did make a wierd noise. just from experience replaced few clutches in my time. Moderators Zedman240® Posted May 28, 2009 Moderators Posted May 28, 2009 Make sure all the air is out of the system and is the replacement master cylinder the same bore size? How did you bleed it? Gravity or with someone on the clutch pedal? Quote
reverendzed Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 Hey Dimitri, the new Master seemed to be the same size as the one I pulled off I ordered it through Bursons. I bled it at the slave through having someone depress the pedal...hope that gives some further info. Rev. Quote
