Hey... I don't actually own the Zed my brother does but he doesn't like posting on forums cause he's lazy lol.

 

Anyway, I usually ride shotgun with his 79 280ZX Targa.

 

We're in the Southside of Brisbane.

 

My plan is to get a Zed and RB it which is what another friend of mine is currently in the process of doing (he's got a white 280 2+2).

 

So... if you see us about come up to us and yeah... talk or whatever.

 

The last time we went out to Queensland Raceway it was running sub-60 second laps.

 

1979 Datsun 280ZX Targa

 

Engine: L28 tuned to 198kW

Gearbox: Original 280ZX housing with S15 synchros and DR30 parts, custom lathed gearstick

Suspenion: Full suspension job, very stiff

Wheels: Toyo Proxes R888 Semi Slicks with Bendix Ultimate brakes

Seats: Buddy Club P1 Limited Edition Carbon Fiber, with Monza 4-point harness

Total Weight: Approx. 900kg - 1000kg

Top Speed: No idea - we've hit the redline in 4th gear and it was doing 200kph then.

Welcome to the forums mate, good to see more people from Brisbane.

 

If you and your brother are keen, a few of us Qld forum members are taking our Zs (and our mates in their non Zs) to the Yatala Drive In this thursday (16th) night. Getting there around 645-7pm. We will be seeing the Fast and the Furious and the Pink Panther 2.
