Michael Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Hey guys just after installing a speedo cable i closed the bonnet to roll back and forth a little to see if i was successful or not , "Cant go fast with 2 Wheel nuts in each wheel " But when i rolled it back in and pulled the hood release, it went slightly out then went totally loose, Does anyone have any tips on how to unlock the bonnet from underneath? - Complete car >< - Thanks Mick Quote

Screwdriver/torch/ Tools were of no use for me, I ended up Finding a void in the 6-1 extractors And simply pushed a flat pieces across and Ding! What a relief, after 3 - 1/2 hours underneath on the opposite side with pliers / screwdriver Just reaching where i needed to be... Anyway looks like its a luck game in the future But did find a peventative method on Hybrid z i think which simply involved attaching a wire from the latch following the brake lines down so in future if it happens again "touch wood" It will be just a matter of pulling the cable Anyway Thanks heaps guys for letting me know it was possible.
