R200 should be plently stong enough, a few people on this forum are running over 300rwkw with that dif with no problems.

hay thanks mate off the top of ya head do you know what there worth and availability's like reason i ask is i have the opportunity to get a hole 280 fa 1ooo bucks and really want ta know should i grab it while i can the issue i have is storage and am fast running outa space  :-\

my r180 held up fine to my 283 chev, with a bit of work, had 20+ years in there and the only theing that the prev owner could remember breaking, is the rubber strap over the diff, the front mount and the moustache bar stud mount pin thing.

Sweet thanks man that will save me some cash ta get other crap  ;D what gearbox did ya run  behind ya Chev ? I'm lookn at tryn ta use a T5 if i can

The R200 will be more than strong enough, remember Skylines have just a short version of it and there are GTRs holding a lot more than even 300kw. 

A whole 280 for $1000?  Thats not bad, depends on the condition, but yeh they are selling pretty cheap so it sounds good.

If you see some pics of some zeds on the HybridZ site with fully tubbed, V8's doing massive wheel stands, I think the diff should outlast cockroaches on this planet.

yeah i kind of figured that im only but im only putn a 355 in it not a big block
