opps, forgot to introduce myself

Sorry, I've posted a couple of times on this forum now without introducting myself (How rude of me...).

 

I live in SE QLD and have a 260z two seater. I've been the owner of it for the past 10 years almost, and to boot it was my first car as well. Unfortunately It's been garaged for the best part of five years, as I have had other commitments (Uni, living overseas etc).

 

It started life as an automatic with those god awful flat topped carbs. At one stage I bought a 1JZGTE to plant into it but then lacked the time,funds and inclination to do the conversion, so my zed sat for quite a while (having already pulled the old motor out). I eventually bought a L28 efi setup. So now I have an rebuilt L28 with the standard EFI gear, and have converted it to a manual as well. Did it all myself as well (so expect to see it broken down on the side of the road in the near future?). The car is still unregistered and I have probably only put about 200km's on the new motor.

 

I guess now that I'm back working and hopefully driving my zed zoon I'll need to come on this forum more often to ask how to fix whatever is broken at any given time

Other than you not turning the last bolt tight enough the FI on an L28 is so reliable not to mention the L28, Happy Motoring
