New member with a '72 240z in Brissy

Hey guys, just thought I'd sign up and say hello.

 

I've had a 1972 240z in British Racing Green for about 3 years now. It's my first 240 after having had two 260's previously (both 2+2's).

 

I hope to increase/speed up my restoration process in the coming months and maybe participate in some drives in or around the Brisbane area by the end of the year.

What stage are you at with the 240?

 

You should post some pictures up too.

Hi Steve,

 

 

The car has been sitting for a little while due to an ignition or starter motor related problem which I need to rectify. After that it should be ready to go...

 

There's a few other cosmetic things I'd like to fix up but overall she's fairly straight.

 

Hope to get it running again soon!

 

Also it really is BRG, not black as the pictures from my dodgy camera might suggest...

It's definitely British Racing Green (though quite a dark shade), next time I'll turn on the flash
