R200 rear diff swap from R180 240z

just wanted to know what is involved and must you change the tail shaft to suit the R200

You need the R200 diff itself, mustache bar, half shafts, & I think the front diff mount?

I'm not sure about the tail shaft...

yeah main concern in the tail shaft

 

as my car has a supra gear box so custom tail shaft and dont particularly wanna chop it or anything

 

if any1 can advise if the tail shaft ends on the diff are the same it would be a big help

sometimes yes & sometimes NO,

you can swap the tailshaft ends, just split the uni and swap flanges.....same way you replace a uni joint.
