strut stuffed?

I bought another front strut to replace my damaged one and it looked really rusty so I had it blasted but the surface looks pitted, does this mean its stuffed?

Is it a 240 or 260 strut?

Its a 240z strut Lurch, I've spoken to Rob and it may be fine, just got to make sure the bearing fits ok.
