zedevan Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 i'm after the rubber bit that goes around the gear stick and wondering if there is anywhere in Aus that sells them at a reasonable price, or if i should just get it off ebay america etc. mines got a hole in it and superglue didn't hold as there is kinda a bit of plastic missing from wear... here's a link to what i'm talking about http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-260Z-280Z-Shift-Boot-New-OEM-1974-1978-74-78_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ10076QQitemZ4604769776QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW[/url/ Quote
Natez Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 unles u can get one off a wrecker. You would be able to get one from nissan at a premium.... only other place that i can think of is either, rare spres, scots old rubber... or that zparts place in sydney.... Quote
zedrally Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 If it's not to bad you can patch it up with black silicon, after all you still have the faux leather boot on the inside! MOM Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted January 19, 2006 Administrators Posted January 19, 2006 I'm a strong believer in Ebay myself of course it's good to do some research may as well ask at Nissan. You could find one at a wrecker or a similar item but for $13.00 US it's currently at it's a good price. Always check seller feedback and ask for shipping prices first. So far I've had good luck for the most part but overpaid on a AMP FUEL Gauge due to shipping cost. Quote
warrenz Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Hi When I was looking for mine for the 240 I got it from AllZparts in Sydney for around $55. I was brand new in Nissan North America packaging. Warren Quote
