datsfreak Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 hi, Im still having issues fitting my new rota wheels as the fronts hit the spring platform but I had a idea does anyone know if the 260z strut offsets the wheel more outbound then the 240z one? The 260z brake rotor has a smaller hat(by 8.5mm), so im hoping it will work. Does the 260z strut bolt up into a 240z? btw I tried just a 260z hub on the 240z strut an that did not help the offset so it must be in the strut itself. thanks guys Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted October 22, 2008 Administrators Posted October 22, 2008 Just going off what I've read here, so may not be 100% accurate. I am under the impression though that 260z struts have a slightly lower spring perch and the struts themselves are slightly wider in diameter. I'm sure someone who knows exactly will chime in, but fairly certain from memory that's what I've read. Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted October 22, 2008 Moderators Posted October 22, 2008 I'm sure the only differences in the struts are the diameters 240 51mm, 260 55mm. You will find the 240 hub is slightly longer to take up that larger hat from that 240 disc. 240 and 260 hubs have different hat mounting distances. And yes; the 260 strut will go in to a 240Z. Quote
