Anyone out there used Cannon intake with triple webers on an N42 head?

I'm worried that the fuel injections notches in the head only leave 3-5mm seal for the inake to the head.  Is this a problem?

Also; if there is a little corrosion on the head water holes that have to be TIG welded to build them up; will this compromise longevity/function of the head.

The head guy said its normal to apply a bit of weld to 30+ year old alloy heads and it will be fine.  Any information out there?

Weld is ok I have seen a number of E88, N42's all with weld around these areas of corrosion you are talking about - a number of them race cars that see high temps too and never a problem. I would be more concerned about the heads hardness for any performance application. Re the N42 injector notches they should be fine - however my head guy just welded them up when he knew I was running triples - again a race type setup so this was also done to aid in the flow.
