Hey guys,

My auto-manual conversion is my number 1 priority in terms of cashflow, and I've been told I need to source a pedal box for the conversion.

Anyone got one lying around?

Cheers

You might want to check out other datsun models around the same year as many parts are interchangeable. I did a conversion on a 180B and used two automatic pedals cut down to fit the manual pedal rubbers

scootag is right.  i ended up sourcing a manual box for small fortune till later all i could have done is to use another brake one and cut the pedal to suit manual pads. easy.

also auto ones are very cheap.

good luck.

also clutch master u can use from early nissan ie 180B 200B etc.....

Ok I have found a 1981 280zx at the wreckers with a manual pedal box, but I've been told it may not be the same as the 240 and 260!!  :-[

Before I fork out the cash for it I figured I had better check with you guys as to whether I can use the parts from it.

Assuming that I cant use it, what were the other models of around the same age I should look at? 180Bs? There were quite a lot of different datsuns at the wreckers but I wasn't sure which ones had the same pedal boxes.

Cheers
