Duct tape some contact on the underside of the fresh air vents.

Is there a drain located somewhere that may be blocked?

you will loose your fresh air on you heater but ... toy pull off your wipers and then your grill panel you will find the the panel underneath has 2 large holes, 1: you can spend the time and spot weld sheet steel a spot every 30-40 mm and then put seam sealer along it or 2: just use duct tape or some crap like that .... but before all that as hunter siad i think your drain holes are blocked so clean them out if you have a compressor .. blow all the s#*t out or with a hose flooding the vent! you will find alot of crap comes out under your gards

then once that dries spray in there with cavity wax or fish oil

Good luck ;)

the little pull leaver on each side under each side vent opens a flap for fresh air to come to your feet.they are mounted high near each kick panel. they are the ones from the front of the bonnet.

in the airbox fresh air is than sucked by the fan and than forced elsewhere. in turn that air can be either further cooled by ac if equiped or heated up by the heater core. in another words gives steady temperature controlled fresh air to the occupants on long trips otherwise they all pass out from lack of oxygen in the car.
