Replacement seat foam and density?

Hi Folks,
Finally decided to try and re-trim the seats out of my 72 240z.

The seats were already re-trimmed once in their life and I don't know if the foam is original or not?

However it appears quite flat in the base in particular and I am thinking of either repairing it or buying new foam and cutting it out into the same shape (perhaps with a little more base to it. It looks like when it was re-trimmed someone added a horsehair like material to the base and backing to give it more support, but it's messy and I don't want to use that stuff again.

Can anyone suggest where I might find suitable density foam? Or what they used?
