Hi all, so I got a spare engine with my new car along with loads of other parts. Was told they are both L28's. However they appear different. 

Can anyone shed any light on them?

Just different covers, used in some markets more than others. They don't mean anything on their own. Some prefer aesthetics of 1 over the other.
