Yea yea i know, wrong section, But im allready buying 2 now, and im informed it'll be a week only till its in the warehouse, so im doing a very quick group buy for some headgaskets.

Im getting 2 allready, and i can limit the amount of freight charged by buying multiple items, so if you want one, let me know.

from Courtesy Nissan in Texas.

$150us of the gasket itself, which works out to about $150 aussie super strong dollars ;D plus freight, which so far is at $65 spread over 2 gaskets.

EOI here in this thread, i'll try and check back daily.

I can front for a few gaskets, but i would prefer to do a cash up front arrangement.

copper gaskets require block O ringing to be used, the gaskets also require annealing before use, and constant maintenance (regular re-torquing) if you want to get a good long life out of them.

Multi layer metal headgaskets can be used on standard blocks and heads, without requiring o ringing prior to use, they are (debateable, pending who you speak to) generally stronger than copper, and in most cases seal better than the copper counterpart.

as for the one on ebay, that is just a composite gasket, pretty much just like a standard one. If you plan on increasing the cylinder temperatures and pressures, a standard headgasket can quickly become a weak point.

seeing as no one seems interested, i have allready put in an order for 2.

I can increase this quantity, but i will only have about 5 days, tops, to do so.
