Groundhog Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Is it possible to get seal kits for the heater control valve? Has anyone found an alternative valve that can be adapted to fit? Quote

OdinZ Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 i am in the process of fixing mine up, took it into a seals/o-ring place and got replacement o-ring. mine was pretty rusty. cleaned it up and just have to spray it then fit. Quote
Groundhog Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 I'd advise pressure testing it before you put it back. Mine leaked on the flat top seal first time with a new shaft oring. I replaced the top seal with an Oring and it sealed and operated. I used a bike tube clamped on the inlet outlet to pressure test. Low pressure only required. OdinZ 1 Quote
