Camokazi Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 G’day guys I have just purchased a 280zx convertible. I know very little about it’s history. Does anyone know anything about who done these conversions or any thing about this car in particular. Cheers Quote
260DET Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 Nice looking car, looks like the sills may have been reinforced but until now did not know they/it existed. No plate anywhere identifying the conversion? Quote
RAP260 Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 Welcome Camokazi Yea, that's the first I recall seeing. Looks nice though. A lot of work has gone into that conversion. Cheers, Rob Quote
Camokazi Posted July 4, 2018 Author Posted July 4, 2018 Yeah there is some serious reinforcing in the sills and under the car. Only one I can find with the same chop. It’s all done in sheet metal so lots of work. No id plate that I can find as yet. Quote
AussieZed Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 Really impressed by the work on the bootlid, it is a great look - Alfa Spider meets Triumph Stag meets 280zx... Quote
