Moderators Zedman240® Posted May 3, 2008 Moderators Posted May 3, 2008 If you have removed the two 10mm bolts that hold the base of the distributor to the front timing cover, there is usually a gasket that is between the two. It takes a bit of effort but I sometimes remove the bolts, then re insert the dizzy and tap it from side to side gently, then it does free itself. Don't beat the living crap out of it though! Quote
benny Posted May 3, 2008 Author Posted May 3, 2008 the 2 10 mm bolts that dimitri is talkin bout, it looked to have some sought of gasket glue was just stuck tight and i thought that they had a shaft into the motor so was just bein carefull so do i try give it a bit of a tap?? Ben Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted May 3, 2008 Moderators Posted May 3, 2008 Usually I just grab the dizzy with my hand and wiggle it from side to side (front to back). Thats enough to free it. Quote
