For the project race car, the fuel cell has been located directly under and up against the rear floor so the filler hose has to come in through the rear quarter panel above the floor into the top of the cell. Is there any simple way to clad it, as far as I know there is no suitable off the shelf clad hose available. For venting I'm assuming that braided stainless fuel line will be OK.

There is a good reason for mounting the cell up against the floor, that's not going to be changed. So, solution?

How much do you have to cover?
is it a reasonably straight piece of pipe?
its probably pretty simple to bend up a bit of alloy sheet into a U shape and screw it down over the top of it.
It'd protect it from any debris that may end up loose in the event of a spill and it'd also work well to maintain the firewall between the fuel system components and the cabin.

Another option is the dual wall tubing they use for fuel pumps. Can't remember the name off the top off my head.

But I reckon making a new rear firewall is the easiest/cheapest solution.
