zed240au Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 hi well been working on my engine change for sometime now was gonna wait till i finished car before i showed any pics but finally got motor sitting in place for the last time touch wood and i just got to show it to someone here it is engine is from hsv clubsport r8 with t56 six speed box fits real sweet though it has given me plenty issues to get it in now to finish wiring and fire it up cant wait mick Quote

zed240au Posted May 31, 2008 Author Posted May 31, 2008 taken way too long had a few problems plus im working away but finally fired engine up today been two months since i first tried to start it wouldnt start checked everything everything checkd out sent computer back to be checked that vats turned off finally got it back yesterday no change ended up changing injectors and away it went damn it sounds good been changing engine for 3 years (lots extra mods ended up happening along the way to cope with new hp) so sweet to hear it run now to finish it off exhaust would be good to start with its so loud straight out of extractors cant wait to drive it mick Quote
zed240au Posted August 2, 2008 Author Posted August 2, 2008 well finally got car to stage of fitting exhaust booked it in and drove it to exhaust shop yesterday about 5 minute drive first time out of driveway running straight out of extractors its loud blowing flames and it was raining too so i was taking it easy lol well trying too anyway tacho not hooked up and no speedo it lights up rear tyres so much easier than the old engine mate is gonna get wheel alignment done while im away at work this week as i have fitted adjustable arms and camber plates all around so camber and castor is all out cant wait to go for decent drive next weekend mick Quote
