240z rear quater window???? how hard would it be to make it wind down??

hey guys

 

as the topic stats the 240z or 260z rear quater window how hard would it to make it roll down into the body

 

to try and get that pillar less rear window look similar to a RX3 or RX4

 

any suggestions??

it would be way way to much bulls#*t work  ,one, you got to find an actuator that would

suit the glass and its drop ....which in its self is hard enough .. two the inner wheel arch

sits right under it so it wouldn't drop enough ... rx3 and so on the wheel arch is farther back

allowing it to fall away .... not so say it couldnt be done but stuff that

yeah 240 may be a bit of a pain. depending how far the glass can be droped. if it can than its just a matter of finding a compact actuator. most prob from power window one.

 

i had a look at my 2+2 for that pillar less look but decided not to go for it too much stuffing around. prob easier than 240z.

If you want the 'Pillerless' look, go find a 240K coupe (these have the wind down 1/4 windows)
