locklock Posted May 31, 2017 Author Posted May 31, 2017 (edited) Finally got my car back. Thank you everyone for the advice on modifying the car especially lurch for the detailed tips! The car has a very good pull at higher range rpm,but im not sure about the exact rpm as i forgotten to get the msd tach to make the rpm to work with the msd ignition. Its has titanium retainers, 9000rpm springs, bronze valve guides, lumpy cam i dont know whats the specs. While cruising on 110kmh, 5th gear the engine is noisy, i guess its sitting on higher rpm, my questions is would changing the differential to 4.44 helps? Or do i need to change the gearbox too? Or can i keep the gearbox and just change the gearing from kameari? Currently is stock gearbox with a lighten flywheel. Edited June 1, 2017 by locklock Quote
1600dave Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 (edited) If you currently have a 3.9 diff, changing to a 4.44 will cause the engine to rev higher at the same road speed. To reduce revs, you want a 3.7 or 3.54r diff. But then performance will suffer. Edited May 31, 2017 by 1600dave Quote
