Today I started the ricey and limped it out of the garage as it hadn't been run for a month, 15 seconds after start up it stalled due to driver error and wouldn't start again.

I seem to have lost all power after the starter. I checked the fusible link off the starter (It's been modified) continuity seemed ok but with the battery on there is no 12v at the loom where the link is spliced back in... There is 12v at the starter, no power in the car at all.

I found a green fusible link behind the fusebox that checks out ok.

Not sure if it's an issue but I also have a 260z volt gauge instead of a 240z ammeter.

Can I source the correct replacement link anywhere local or swap it for an in line fuse? Does anyone know what amperage it is?

did you find a OEM looking replacement for the fusible link?

i am doing an engine bay makeover and want/need to replace the fusible link

You buy the correct looking fusible links from the USA shop, Motorsport Auto.

I found an assortment pack of fusible link wires on eBay that I used. It was just the bare wires, but has done the job for me.

I have just bought all the bits to make them and looks the same as the MotorSport Auto / OEM look , These will also include the male connector on the zed's wiring loom so both plugs are fresh white instead of fresh white into faded / dirty socket.

or you can just slide the brand new brass terminal into the old faded plastic housing for the authentic, vintage look.

annoyingly everything had to be bought in large quantities..   so if anyone needs one let me know . I'll put a pic up or post in the classified section once the wire comes in , i am also getting a couple of different amperages
