I used m4x1.25 thread 20mm length allen key mushroom head bolts.

You could also just re-tap it to a larger m6 sized hole if its abit rusty.

Hi Tai,

thanks for that, does that pitch fit in the original tapped holes in the windows or did you re-tap it to that? I'm after as original as possible, but will probably go to stainless as I noticed that one of them has rusted in (all the others were missing).

Tech screws and perspex, because race car...... :P  :P

Sorry bored at work at the end of the day.........

Haha not a fan of the tech screw look, bit agricultural for my liking. If I was doing a track 240Z though I would go lexan with machine screws and nylock nuts :)

If anyone could take one out and measure up an original it would be much appreciated...

Come in Gav, master of originality :)

1.25 is vary coarse for M4 . 0.7 mm is the standard coarse pitch for M4

I can measure mine when I get home on Sarurday if that's any good to you.

I think you are correct. Its the finer thread of the 2 common sized m4’s. I just said 1.25 as in the larger sized bolts 1.5 is the coarser common thead pitch.

Alex do you know a good fastener supplier in Sydney region for sourcing stuff like this?
