2X L28 Engines Melbourne

Got 2 l28's that came with my z that i dont think ill be needing. The one that came out of the z is an n42. other is an f54 with n42 head. I was told its a running engine. Been ot of the car for 10 years. Was taken out when they started restoring it. Not to sure what they are worth

Until you sonic test the block so prospective buyers can tell how much overbore can be applied hard to give a value. 1 sold for around $500 recently but could be given a bore to 88.5mm or so.

 

Not everyone wants to build a stroker but I've got an L28 sitting here that nobody showed much interest in and I only wanted $100 or so dollars for it.

If you really want people to think about buying the motors - please post some photos of them. (hint - click on 'More Reply Options' to get the options for adding photos)

Some clear photographs, from various angles, will give potential buyers some idea of what condition they might be in and what ancillaries - like exhaust, starter, injection etc - they include.

Yeah thats now my one. So many boxes to go through. Ill get some pics and more details once i tidy up abit. Just a big pile right now. All engines and gearboxes and anything associated with the old running gear will go once i get organised. Will be relaced with an rb26 so lots wont be needed. Once i get organised ill post more. Sorry i probably posted a lil prematurely

An engine is an engine, what you need pictures for???

Just specify what the blck/head s, ( already done!), and, what ancilliaries are with it, e carbs/inject, exhaust, dizzy, alt, or f t s just a long motor, e head on block, pan and rocker cover.

By the way, are you looking for an rb26? A buddy of mine in Malaysia has a stock rb26 he's willing to part with. Let me know if you want some pictures.
