I will need a new front to back exhaust shortly, using the stock manifold

Has anyone had a great experience with any exhaust shops

Prefer south subusrbs but will travel

Finding a place that actually listens to what you want is next to impossible. I have yet to find one; knew of one many years ago but have since closed shop.

just looking for a basic stock system, nothing fancy at all

plenty of places doing high end madrel-bent stainless 6 inch custom job for a zillion dollars

you mean like those supercheap pipe bending machines?

could do, but i'm a bit out of "do it yourself". i've ended doing everything myself on this project - brake rebuild, sandblasting, engine rebuild, welding and panel fabrication

as clint eastwood said in the movie - i think it was "dirty harry" - every good man knows his limitations

No, not buying a pipe bending machine.....you just buy pre bent sections and then cut and weld as required to give the shape you require. Its actually not that hard if you can at least weld to a basic level?

stupid question - there's no exhaust in the car at all ( other then the 2 into 1 which needs replacing anyway) that connects to the stock manifold

so how do i know what to bend them to? i was just going to get the car towed and they can make it up

form what i can tell, its  a very simple job - only 2 mufflers and short piece of pipe to join them
