Firstly as you would expect, a forty year old diesel crank would not just drop into a high end stroker without needing some prep. And I think this is of course the consideration when buying a crank like this. SWM have indeed checked, cleaned and linished this crank in prep for its new application. What remains to be done from Stewarts professional opinion is a job called installing a "Speedy Sleeve". It was described as a requirement which most LD cranks of this age need, where a washer/sleeve is fitted to an end of the crank to ensure it will run as it always has. Stewart has said before that he'll charge $100 to have this done. Due to this last step to ensure the crank is stroketastic ready, I have reduced the price so that the new owner can have this done. $700 Quote
