I've stripped my seat and found fibre mats under the seat and the back.What can they be replaced with? Looks like Clark rubber may have something, but am not sure which density and thickness

Also, has anyone tried to wash out the foam cushions, my ones are a bit on the musty side

That horsehair is JUTE material. You can still get it I believe.

I personally wouldn't bother trying to wash the foam cushions they probably lost their pizzaz a long while ago in terms of support and what could be worse than putting your seats back together and having a mildew smell later?  Best to just buy new stuff I'd say.
