Hello AUSZCAR members . My name is Ron Bradley and I probably reside farther away than any other member, I'm From Seal Beach, CA USA

I've had my 75 280Z since 1979 and  put 380K miles on her as a daily driver. In 2003 I started a rolling restoration which ended up as frame up

restoration and still going on today.

As life goes everything got in the way of my car, including a business, which was related to Zcars. A good friend knew I was an engineer

and tried to test my knowledge with his 240 clock(which didn't work). Many months later I redesigned and built my first 240 quartz clock. I received

so many requests from 240z owners that I started Zclocks.com

I have refurbished many clocks from AUSZCAR members 240,280 and Rally clocks. I would gladly answer questions about clocks and have information

on my web site(zclocks.com) on how to identify your clock and Rally clocks.

Thanks...... Ron Bradley

Welcome Ron,

I've seen so many clocks in 240 & 260Z's that need your attention! including mine... it works but doesnt keep good time. Probably doesn't help as everytime the car is off I isolate the battery so everything is dead. Might have to send you my clock one day.

Just wanted to say that I received my Rally Clock back from Ron today as part of a warranty repair. As mentioned here it had stopped working after a couple of weeks.

Well Ron has been testing it extensively for weeks and making sure everything was in order, in the end he replaced a few components that were suspect in terms of wear and started / stopped the clock several times to make sure the issue was resolved.

Throughout the entire process Ron has kept me in the loop and I was happy for Ron to take as much time as needed to repair the clock.

As some will know I've had several clocks fixed by Ron and am always happy with the quality of work, communication, and always impressed with how well he boxes up the clocks and ensures they are protected during transit. The man knows attention to detail.

I wouldn't hesitate dealing with him and would be only too happy to recommend him to others. Shame I've run out of clocks.

@Ron - by the way a while ago I posted this in the business director section of the site.

Might be good to merge the 2 topics or move this from introductions section to recommended business directory if you like?
