crowe Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Has anyone got any of these lying around used or unused. Alternatively if anyone has had any made up and you know the manufacturer has a pattern I would be keen for contact details Thanks in advance Quote
dat2kman Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 How are the WA Transport authourities with slip on type spacers? If OK, you may need to look at longer wheel studs ( NICE Products, are Australian based, purchase via Auto Accessory shops) They do a 44mm and a 75 mm, but check first your knurling diams and depth f shanks. The 75 mm can be cut to length. F not OK with slip ons, ( 8mm thick bolt ons are not ,ade) then you could try,,,,, Super Glueing the spacer to the backside of the wheel,,,,, That way, when the wheel comes off, the spacer stays with it! Bit naughty but it has been done. In motorsport applcations, it is recommended to mechanically fasten the spacer, usually to the wheel hub face, by way of one only countersunk machine screw through the spacer, into a threaded hole in the hub. A M5 or a M6 suffices. ( here comes the "insurance will be void" comments,,,,) Quote
