WTB: 240z Rear hatch Gas Strut

Just after a 240z Rear hatch gas strut, the one that holds the hatch lip up.

 

Please let me know if anyone has one they could sell me

I have a spare OEM 1 but I had to cut the thread where the but attaches because it wouldn't come undone due to damaged thread.

 

 

Do you have a place in mind to regass an OEM unit?

Not sure about the regasing though, perhaps most shock places can do them.

What do you mean by the entire unit? Do you mean the bracket that attaches to the body of the car? I don't have a spare of those, but I assume the 260z ones would be the same? (at least the single left hand side).

Where and how much? My replacement was $40 I view it as a temporary fix, was sick of the thing falling on my head .

Yeh the whole bracket - Mine didnt have one, so I need one that will actually bolt on. I have seen actual units on ebay for the actual strut

Nah the 260z ones are different, they have a different bracket which makes it a little annoying
