Haha, yeah the content management system is a bit dated these days, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of most online publications but I actually find it a bit charming that way. I find it most useful for the technical content and I could care a bit less about the overall web-design.

This article in particular had some definitely obscure cars listed (C210 and Mitsubishi Colt Wagon - I don't recall ever seeing 1 on our roads). I definitely agree with the early series 1 RX-7. But I guess I would have picked the C110 Skyline A.K.A 240k and it seems since that article was written (2010) I would have been correct.

What I think is weird is that everyone has a different preference or fond memory of a different marque, some make absolutely no-sense. Like I'm kinda partial to the older Mitsubishi Sigma's. My grandma had a 1981 Mitsubishi Sigma (GH) GLX

It was a light tea colour (almost gold) and the interior looked like this:

I remember my mum driving it on a few occasions - probably because her Toyota Corona wasn't going to be reliable on a long trip (think it had a cold start issue or flat battery or battery charging problem).

I still remember being amazed at all the little gadgets and gauges those 80s Japanese cars had. I think it's those emotional attachments to a certain car that will have some of these old cars (and some unexpected models) go up in value.

Seems I'm not the only 1 who is a bit fond of the old Sigma haha.

(bonus it has some Billy Idol also!)
