Hi all, I have a dilema.

I have a HS130 (280ZX 2 seater) and I would like to make some upgrades. Mainly suspension and brakes for the time being.

The car is on CH plates and is mainly a track car. I am looking at lowered King springs and would like some performance shocks to suit.

My problem is that I can only seem to find lowered shocks from Koni and they are a bit too much for me, single income with young child.

Does anyone know where I can go for some GOOD advise, or can anyone point me in the direction of where I can get some?

Top Performance in Vermont I've found to be extremely helpful on many occasions, but I'm not sure what they stock in the way of cheaper shocks.  Either way, they should be able to give some sound advice and point out a few things to you that you may not have considered.

I'd also recommend toperformance in vermont, however since they are the koni distributors for australia i doubt they would sell/recommend anything less.

My only regret is not going for better susspension straight away, u can always come across more money, but its painful paying for something twice...

280ZX 2 seater. Is that the black one that was for sale in Geelong about a year ago? Keen to see it one day.

Don't think it's the same one. We got this from out near Ballarat. You'll see it out on the track with NDSOC, we were at Sandown earlier this month. First time out in this car, went well for a car that was sitting in a paddock for 10 years or so. Needs suspension and brake upgrade before a hot motor.

I've spoken with Top Performance, I'm happy to go with the lowered King Springs. The Koni shocks are a bit too much to afford at the moment. Single income with a 4 month old daughter that needs to be in the latest outfits, according to my wife.

I've been looking in the USA, and there is some Tokico adjustables for about $200US + shipping.

Thinking there would have to be something available in Japan????

Then again, Koni's won't dissapoint either!!
