I did this but i used acoustic foam which is slightly thicker and adhesive on one side. I found the spray can adhesive was not working as well as Kwik grip applied with a brush. Cost $100 from clark rubber and i bought enough vinyl to do two of them. Make sure you keep your old one to make a template from. Quote

Having said that if you bought 2 meters of the material you could also retrim the edges of the roof. I'll see if i can take a decent photo. Quote
