Hi - New 240z Owner

Hi all,

 

I’ve just recently become the owner of my first 240z, having purchased Nate’s 73 240z. I’ve always been a fan of the Z car, but up until now I have owned and modified Datsun 1600s.

 

I’m originally from NZ, and have been living in Melbourne for around 18 months now. I still have a SR20DET Datsun 1600 which I had been building in the garage in NZ (as pictured below), but it will continue to gather dust for a while now as I begin work on the 240z project.

 

 

I’ll be converting it to run an RB25 with similar suspension and braking modifications as I used on my 1600. I’m still researching and absorbing many of the key points of the engine conversion and I’m sure I’ll be posting and searching the forums for info.

You'll find quite a few RB conerted Z's on this forum. Good to hear from you, welcome to the site. I sold the Z you have to Nate some time ago now. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
