stevofoxono Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Hi all, a bit's changed since I've last posted but i'll keep it short and sweet, I'm living down in Tootgarook, the roads and.. "views" are brilliant down here Apart from zeds my other Japanese car money pit is in Mira's. I bought my first one for a few hundred off ebay a bit over 2 years ago,lil 850cc 3cyl carby pocket rocket. Apart from it not having any brakes on it's maiden journey home it's been pretty awesome/reliable. I started playing around with it doing all the random things I would never let myself do to the 240. here it is in it's filthy glory coming up to the stupid ebay purchase part.. again So the other day when my girlfriend wasn't looking i accidentally bought another mira for a few hundred.. only this time with the smaller 660cc *turbo* motor with all the goodies, only downside is it's not registered, the gearbox is f'd and it's in Heidelberg. Unfortunately I haven't got anything to bring it down with (ie truck/trailer) and I don't have any family or mates down here I can ask for favours. Would anyone be kind enough to bring it down (on the off chance they're headed down this way)I'll cover any costs and a carton of your choice! or could you recommend any businesses that would do the heidelberg-tootgarook trip? Cheers Quote
DreamZproject Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 LOL I live in Heidelberg! I'm half tempted, but quite busy at the moment, just the other weekend i made a trip down to the peninsula to pick up a couple of 240 bumpers! Crazy small world. I'll see if the missus is interested because obviously we'd need to have another car for the way back. #WHOOPS! missed the gearbox fcuked up bit. Bad luck.# Quote
stevofoxono Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 all good mate, atleast i know for next time who to go to for cars in heidelberg haha i should probably put in there something about a truck or a trailer Quote
DreamZproject Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Those Mira's are pretty small... Could it be fitted in the boot of my MR2? it's surprisingly spacious in there considering it shares its domain with an engine! Quote
stevofoxono Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 you could probably fit a few miras in the back lol Quote
Cozza Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Not sure if you have a car to tow with but I hired a trailer from my local servo for 4 hours for $60 plus $100 deposit. To tow my 1600. Quote
