nizm0zed Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 i have a crappy little 121 to drive around as a daily when im not on the bike (i stay on the bike as much as possible) Getting out of that and into our FG falcon was worlds apart, but didnt really bother me too much. I can see exactly why my wife complains about having to drive the mazda because she is used to the power, comfort, handling, quiet ride ect ect. I think you'll find its the same case with most people's partners complaining about having to drive the 'old car' Quote
Noblesseoblige Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 I'm all set niz my girl loves all cars she likes manuals and all that jazz Quote
d3c0y Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I got those figures of Tare weight: 1,350 kg (2,980 lb from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_S30 If the 2+2 is not heavy in the steering can you explain why the net is full of people putting in power steering, seems silly doesn't it if not needed, my lady has said if I put that car on the road she will not drive it, the steering is too heavy, you will never change that. People are putting power steering in 2 seaters too. It's just easier that's why all modern cars have power steering, im not disputing that power steering is easier than non power assisted steering. I also know a lot of zeds that have the wrong wheels on them. That weight has citation needed next to it and it doesn't specify if its 2+2 or 2 seater. Also most of the weights listed on most of those sites are for US cars which are different. Quote
G Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I'm with Gareth on this one ^^^ We could solve about 3 problem posts in one hit here. Want an oversquare, revvy, power assisted coupe with fuel injection? Buy a Toyota 86. I think I just pre-empted and solved the "I have rust" thread before it started as well.. Quote
dat2kman Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Hilarious, yes! You lot have gotten so far off on various tangents,,, sheesh! The guy is just looking for basic info on the Z car. It's a case of crawl, walk, then run. But to just "run" first off! Start off with basics, learn, try, test, play, it is a recipe for success and fun! Quote
