Gas Door Locks

Hello,

 

  I'm looking for 2 gas door locks.  That was never an option in the US, but I'd like to convert my two z cars to this style. I already have the doors but need the locks.  I don't need the keys because I can get them rekeyed to my ignition key.

I'm not too sure about having them keyed-alike but could probably get something very similar from Tuffy locks in the US.

The nth American delivered cars had a turn-knob on the gas flap, whereas many of our cars had the locking flaps using the same key as the doors, not the ignition key which is a different shape.

Plenty of 260 2+2's are being parted out at present, suggest you contact someone doing that to see if they would be prepared to post to the USA, try via the local gumtree.com.au or ebay.com.au

If you bought the gas flap lock & door/hatch locks with key at the same time you'd then already have a matching set & it might make it more attractive for someone to post overseas.
